Handmade…the affection of gifting something full of meaning and love in every stitch. Embroidery is an ancient art I discovered trying to free myself of things in the modern world. Too much screen time. I found in the various embroidery stitches the freedom and empowerment that I needed.

As a photographer I started a project embroidering photos taken by me or giving a new meaning to old family photos (paper, canvas, cotton fabric). Combining my two passions, photography and embroidery, became something very special for me. That project is very close to my heart.

I started embroidering pet portraits after grieving my dear Jimi, who passed in 2018 after being my best friend and my family for 15 years. Every stitch of his portrait is filled with love and gratitude for all the joy he brought to my life. And I put all that love in all my pet portraits, because I know how much they mean to their families.
